Our philosophy continues to be based on our enjoyment of the intimate experience of one or two couples at a time here at Sunshine House. Continued thanks to Bob, Kay, Todd and Christine from year one.
The small, intimate experience means more to us than "filling" the house with three different groups at a time. Marsha and I believe that we do our best for those who stay with us by keeping the numbers low so that we can spend more quality time with our guests.
Our number one goal is to enjoy our guests and do the best that we can for them to make them feel comfortable and personally welcome during the stay at Sunshine House. Butchie totally agrees and gives it his stamp of approval!!!

The Downstairs Room (Blue)

There is no need to feel confined to your room during your stay. Most of our guests, when they choose, spend time with us in the large kitchen room "hanging out" and exchanging stories!
The Upstairs Room (PERIWINKLE)
Includes all of the above, but the bathroom is in the hallway and not attached to the bedroom. The bathroom is private as those staying upstairs will be the only ones with access during the stay. There is also a fridge in the room.
The OTHER ROOM (Green)
The OTHER ROOM is also upstairs which we consider overflow (Suite) for groups that would like to have two rooms and share a bathroom. The green room, however, does have a private sink in the room. WE WILL NOT rent to different groups that will share the upstairs rooms.

Taxes: Kenai Borough sales tax is 3%. Seward City sales tax is 4% and Seward bed tax is 4% for a grand total of 11% tax for each night spent at the Sunshine House. With that said, here are the room rates including tax:

*We are also open all-year-round. In the winter we would appreciate a stay of 2-3 days. Our prices stay the same year-round. We do not have seasonal pricing.*
